This girl continues to amaze me!

A few weeks ago we were on a walk and we walked next to an Ibis with a broken or injured leg. I commented on how it probably hurt him. Matea says, 'momma we pray for Ibis?' i love to be surprised by her and am always overjoyed to get to hear her pray.

Last weekend we were all on our bed together and peter's shirt came up a little bit on his back exposing a dark mole. Matéa notices this and says, 'Oh Dad! you chocca-chip on your back.'

This morning we were in the kitchen and i was telling matea that my neck really hurt and it i couldn't turn my head around because it hurt so badly. After a few inquisitive questions about the 'owie' - she says 'momma, pray for neck" and proceeds to pray Jesus will help it feel better :)

Today on our walk she points to a telephone pole. "Oh momma, so high! Too high for me." Yeah just a little.
