Team

Team - this has been a theme for most of my life. Basketball teams, Volleyball teams, cheerleading teams, even the team of horses my dad had to pull our covered wagon. Individuals working together to accomplish a goal. Over the past 8 months i have been so blessed & challenged by these 6 people. Here is how:

My #1 man & favorite wrestling partner: Peter
It is just SO cool that we are able to work together. To see each others strengths & weaknesses & be shaped by each other. Something i really appreciate about Peter is to see how well he communicates truth & wisdom to those around him. From doing surveys with students in dorms (he somehow made students WANT to do the surveys) to preaching in Church - he has a way with words & ideas. More tact than i will ever hope to have. You are amazing~

Matas:
Matt has such a deep love for people. Something i greatly appreciate about Matt is his love for God & his wife. This facilitates paradigm shifts for people who get to hang around him. I appreciate his creative mind and unstoppable playfulness.

Kellie:
As i have told her before i see Kellie as a spark - i love that she makes me and others giggle, be a little rebellious & enjoy the silliness of life. Kellie has an amazing ability to love and reach out to girls - girls she meets in the dorms, girls on her team, etc. She is so sincere in her love and compassion that spurs me on to do the same.

Tiana:
Her loyalty and devotion to her friends makes God’s love very evident in Tiana. She is super thoughtful with flowers on birthdays, so willing to listen & also ask those close to her tough questions to point them to Christ. We get to laugh a lot with Tiana too about silly songs, quotes & other fun, zany things, like shouting out "Lupines" as we drive by some purple flowers :)

Sharon:
Shazzy Sharon our little Aussie...what a blessing this girl has been to me. I love how God has gifted her to ask questions that draw us out of ourselves in order to be able to explain what we are feeling to each other. She is such an amazing thinker & idea giver. Her love for Jesus & her hubby is such a great example to me.

Jason:
I am so glad that Peter has someone to play video games with! Jason has an amazing servant-heart. Anytime you need help he is willing, even when it is inconvenient to him. It has been cool to see his desire to love and challenge the guys the Lord has brought into his life: his deep conversations with the m guys, building quanxi by going to pubs, pool halls & helping friends with construction projects. It's great to see his goofy side coming out too!

You bring God glory my dear team & He is so proud of how you have walked in His good works He prepared for you~

Dear friend!
Thanks for the great encouragement and reminder that we are each others provision. Sometimes, that is much odder feeling than it looks! We are quite the bunch of folks! :) All with different styles, taste and even different in our relationship with God, but we get to share that together here.
Thanks Jen,
