just one of those great sundays

we had an incredible day today - let me tell ya about it.

This morning we woke up at 7am, that may not seem early, unfortunately for peter that is REALLY early, but it was for a great reason.
Esteban, our friend from Spain and fellow church-goer setup a 24 hour Prayer Room at church and we signed up to pray from 8-10.
This is Esteban with some AMAZING women from Klaipeda.

The prayer time was great - i even got to sketch a little and reflect on Psalm 143:5-6
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the work of your hands. I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.

After our prayer time we went to have some coffee.

Church was great - it was Jason's first time to 'preach' and he did an excellent job.

Kaunas is currently having a big celebration for about a week called "Kaunas Days" - the towns seems to have doubled in size and there is much activity.

This was our walk home after church

We arrived to Rotuse Square and decided to eat lunch. It was some amazing food -

some had desreles & chicken from the spit (bbq)

others had some delicious kebabs - mmmmm they were good!

Thank you Lord for Sundays, for Your word, for prayer, for friends & good food~
