Today we were sitting in our MPD workshops working on our presentations. Our brains were pretty much turning into mush by this time in the day and the Lord provided a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the Space Shuttle Atlantis take off. It was scheduled to take off at 2:45pm from the Kennedy Space center (about 5-10 miles away from our hotel). A bunch of us walked out onto the balcony of our meeting room and looked to the south. We waited with much anticipation and for a brief second were able to see the rocket's red glare! It was amazing! We then started singing the National Anthem due to our overflowing emotion. Well, maybe not, but it was pretty cool.

I just looked at your blog realizing that you just posted this a minute or so ago...cool. Tried to call you to see when you are coming back.
I think that is cool that you got to see something amazing as seeing the Space Shuttle Atlantis take off! It sounds like you have had a busy but good reflection time in FL. Times like those would make you want to sing the national anthem.
